Did anything else change or is it a new symptom?

It sounds like inrush is exposing something in the system. Sometimes if the run value is too low (from a recipe change) the VFD will never actually get the motor to start up. Otherwise it could be broken or weak wiring, small wiring, bad winding in the motor, bad leg supplying the VFD? Lots of external factors to investigate before troubleshooting the VFD itself. A lot of times though it isn't the VFD.
